We had a great time at this beautiful lake house. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the owner was easy to reach with any questions. Very comfortable beds and a cozy fireplace to relax by at the end of fun day on the water. Great views of the lake and easy access to many nearby attractions and activities. We had relaxing and fun filled vacation at this oasis on Lake Oconee, and will definitely return.

Amazing Lake Getaway

Last year our families stayed on Lake Burton and had a good time. But now that we have found Lake Oconee we are not going anywhere else. The lake is fantastic for fishing and we rented a really fun ski boat that the grandkids loved. Great family memories! There was hardly any other boat traffic even though we were right in the middle of the best weather during the warm fall. The grandkids also had the best time playing in the in the lake behind the house. They took out their floaties and rafts and had a ball. We were so thankful we were able to bring our family lab, Roxie and she really had a fun time playing in the water too! We got to sample some of the wonderful restaurants on the lake and wish we had more time to sample more. We all loved the lake sunsets!

DJ was so timely with getting back to us on any questions we had before we got there. We could tell she had decorated the house to make all her guest feel welcome and right at home. There is high speed internet, but in our opinion, if you are on the computer, you are missing out on the FUN! So far the family has voted this is where we want to go next year! And we can't wait!
